STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAMME WITH KYUNG HEE UNIVERSITY, SOUTH KOREA

Yes, us ASASI TESL students just love to have fun with foreign exchange students! :D Last year it was with the Japanese, this year, for a whole week starting from the 15th of January 2011, we received a visit by students from Kyung Hee University, South Korea. Another round of fun, laughter, culture and Malaysian food! Bring it on!

With Miss Sally (as students know her) as the main advisor, a group of students were hand-picked as facilitators to smoothen out the whole programme. The week started with some formal activities (ASEAN briefing, lectures, ASEAN briefing 2, lectures) but as the week progresses, we had a lot of fun together! Some of the highlights would include:

   - The Koreans learning the Kelantanese "Eh Wau Bulan" dance

- The Koreans getting dressed up like Malaysians and playing traditional games, making ketupat, and painting batik

   - A trip to Sunway Lagoon! :D

   - A trip to Putrajaya
